It has been a hiatus since i last blogged. I cannot even remember what it was that i blogged about. Well, things have pass by in a blur. After melbourne was a still a period of slacking.
To try to prevent myself from bankrupting my account, i went to get a part time job. AND i totally realised that i am not cut out to be a promoter. Even though sales were still okay BUT i think i really hated the fact that i had to stand for such long hours. Well it's good that i canlearn from my experience though. (: i think i've become more thick-skinned and i'm able to talk to alot of strangers lol. no more problem in public speaking i hope.
hmm i havent blogged about my BIG DAY july 16th the day i am no longer a teen!!! in the morning was a pleasant surprise from debra and kangyu who travelled all the way down to my house to bring me a CAKE and sing me a HAPPY BIRTHDAY song. (: i'm really touched by the efforts mahjong kakis cum project mates cum tutorial mates you all rock. met up with yanxiu to have lunch together before i went for my tuition ): and after that it was VIVOCITY.
met clarice first though i think the rest of them which means anitha and edwyn have reached. that is because of a surprise for me! ha i think clarice saw them while we were walking and she ran! i was thinking WHO she saw man. AHAHA. went to dian xiao er for a 5 or was it 6 course meal and when we finished the person cleared the table and put dessert forks on our table. i was like HUH but no dessert one leh!! then they were like OH maybe it is complimentary LOL. and the person came out with a BAKEKZIN cake (: strawberry shortcake my fave at the moment.
really a nice surprise and the birthday card is really pretty though i thought they were the ones singing AHAHA. yea like what clarice said in her blog i hope i have time to make chocolate desserts for them (:
HA fast forward to NDP!! yay i'm so glad i have the tickets to go. i think it's really different from watching it at home.. usually i just on the tv and walk around without really watching BUT being at the parade watching the BLACK KNIGHTS, the PARACHUTISTS and the FIREWORKS was a super nice experience.. i can just see how much work and effort has been put in to organise just 1 national day parade and the expenses, of course.
just hope that i can survive through this semester as i struggle with my readings, projects, and my tutees. i really hope they can improve so that i feel like i really helped. ha a lot of other thoughts in my mind but need to go shall be back soon i hope. (:
